Lenabox – Straw is a completely natural product. As an input raw material, we use quality wheat straw, which is obtained in the fields on the outskirts of the Pannonian Plain. Going through a modern production line, the straw is first ground and then cut into short pieces. Compared to ordinary straw, which absorbs moisture only at the ends or points of breakage, when being cut, the straw absorbs moisture along its entire length. The increased absorption of the straw enables better binding of manure, which consequently means less bedding, and due to better binding of ammonia, odors in the barn are significantly reduced. Lenabox Garden straw is useful for floor covering (mulch) in gardens, orchards, garden centers and nurseries. Mulch protects the floor from heat in summer and frost in winter, soil moisture is maintained and weed growth is reduced. As the mulch slowly decomposes, nutrients are gradually added to the soil and humus is created. Due to the special treatment method, Lenabox Garden straw has greater resistance to wind erosion. Using mulch improves the look of the garden. Finely ground straw (up to 1 cm) is mainly used as bedding for stalls. Due to its very short fibres, it is extremely absorbent and is an excellent alternative to sawdust bedding. Finely ground straw is packed in 20kg bales stacked on a pallet, which allows easy transport, handling and storage.<\/p>\n Straw pellets are mainly used as bedding in poultry and horse breeding. Due to the short structure of the fibres and the heat treatment during the manufacturing process, they are distinguished by exceptional absorbency and ease of handling.
